Gain MCSE Experience by Paul Abbey
When it comes to choosing the right MCSE training in order to attain your certification you need to first look at what MCSE experience you have. As you will soon discover each Microsoft certification is tied in to the kind of experience and skill sets that a person has. Some of the certificates are designed for those with very little experience whilst others are designed for those who have been working in this particular field for some time.
Generally for those who are just starting out in their career as an MCSE the best thing they can do is start out getting an entry level position in a company's IT Department. In fact in some cases you may find that they do not require you to have any kind of certificate at all just that you are willing to learn. Plus that you are willing to spend time on various different courses in order for you to gain certification.
However those that do obtain their MCSE certification prior to starting work will often find that the first positions they will get will either as helpdesk support, technical support in a call center or they take up some form of contract work. This type of contract work is generally only temporary for a number of weeks or months and is arranged through an agency.
Normally after around 6 months a person will have started to gain a little more experience in relation to the MCSE certification they have or are attempting to get. Certainly it is only after this amount of time are you likely to have a better understanding of what it is you are capable of doing and therefore what it is you want to do in the future.
Where Microsoft is concerned however they suggest that those wishing to obtain their MCSE certification should spent at least 2 years getting on the job experience. Plus it is whilst they are gaining their MCSE experience they should look at doing their training as well. This should all be done actually before they then decide to sit the exams.
The most important think to note when it comes to gaining your MCSE certification is not only do you need to gain MCSE experience which need you to invest a large amount of time. But also you will need to invest a large amount of money into your training as well unless the company you are working for is willing to pay these course fees. You therefore need to consider whether you can actually invest not only your time but also money around $8,000 to $10,000 for paying your course and examination fees.
